Swamp Circus is delighted to announce its Rakker Storytelling Festival, a celebration of circus arts, puppetry, and storytelling, taking place at the Chyan Cultural Centre on the 20th September 2025.
This family-friendly festival will bring together performers, puppeteers, and storytellers in an exciting programme of workshops, stories, and world-class shows.
Daily Festival Schedule:
• 12:00pm – Café Open
• 1:00pm – Circus Workshop
• 2:00pm – Swamp Story Time
• 3:00pm – Guest Performance
Special Guest Performances:
• Saturday 20th September – The Misadventures of Thor
Presented by Angel Heart and Rattlebox Theatre, this comedic romp through Nordic myths follows Thor—tall, brave, strong, but none too bright—as he stumbles through blunders, giants, and embarrassing rescues. With puppetry, storytelling, and larger-than-life characters, this family show brings Viking legends to life with flair and humour.
