Raising Readers Workshop: Elevating Play

Please join Kansas City PBS on Thursday, March 13, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for an in-person workshop for early childhood educators.

Children learn best through self-directed play. So, you're probably thinking "I can just sit back and let them have fun, right?" The answer is NO! Child-led play with adult support and interaction leads to richer play experiences and more brain connections formed.

Join Kansas City PBS Education team in this Raising Readers session as we explore how the materials you provide, your interactions and the activities you plan can promote learning during everyday play.
