Eastwood Events presents: Street Skate Protest 'Raising Awareness on Sexual Violence & Injustices Against Women', held on Saturday 26th September 2026, in Brighton.
'Eastwood Events is back with another protest skate for the 6th year in a row ! Come join the year's street skate: raising awareness on sexual violence and injustices towards women, taking place around the streets of Brighton on Saturday 26th September 2026 !
Like each year, the plan is to skate around the streets of Brighton (following a planned route, TBA) stopping in different areas in the centre of Brighton, showing our signs (I will bring plenty! but you can also make your own!) with music! Allowing people to stop and reflect on such issues, and with hopes, encourage them to start bringing such conversations into light more often, as needed.
ALL WHEELS ARE WELCOME!
I encourage beginner skaters and non-skaters to join by renting a city bike (Beryl), to allow as many people as possible to attend and help raise awareness on such silenced issues!
The starting and ending point is to the left of the i360, on the seafront, from 3pm. The event will end by 5pm, by which point we can all go for drinks to celebrate our efforts.
if you don't feel like joining the skate, come along to the meeting point at 3pm for professional photos and to raise awareness on social media!
