What does it take for a child to reclaim their childhood after war?
Join the Ukrainian Canadian Advocacy Group (UCAG) for RAISE HOPE, a special evening bringing together art, conversation, and community in support of the mental health and well-being of Ukrainian children affected by war.
The evening begins with the VARTA exhibition and art installation, offering guests a powerful artistic perspective before a thought-provoking panel discussion exploring the impact of war on children’s mental health, the challenges they face, and what it takes to help them heal, rebuild trust, and find a sense of safety again.
Then, as the conversation gives way to connection and celebration, join fellow community members for a festive holiday reception featuring live music, catered food by Grysh&Ko Catering, wine from Chaberton Winery Estates, and a live auction.
At the heart of the evening is UCAG’s Raise.UA, our programs in Ukraine helping children affected by war recover from trauma, rebuild trust, and rediscover the simple but essential experience of being a child.
Because bringing children home is just the first step. Helping them feel safe, supported, and hopeful about their future is a responsibility we all share.
