It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beloved team member, Katelyn "Kiki" Kelly. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Kiki experienced the profound impact she made on the world around her. Her kind heart, passion for hospitality, love for adventure, and dedication to animals brought so much light and warmth to our community.
In hospitality, we are more than just colleagues—we are family. Kiki wasn’t just a cornerstone of our team, she was a part of our hearts. Her knowledge, professionalism, and bright outlook were incredible assets, but most of all, she was family—our sister, our nurturer, and our friend.
Kiki is survived by her loving family, her boyfriend Cam, her friends, and her cherished dogs, who she adored with all her heart. She touched countless lives and businesses, and her light will continue to shine through all of us. Let’s honor her by sharing the love, kindness, and joy she spread with everyone she met.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26th, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Lake Funeral Home and Crematory (247 W Johnson Rd, La Porte, IN 46350).
In Kiki’s honor, Casey’s New Buffalo will be hosting a memorial giveback event this Friday night. Join us for an evening of love, light, and celebration—just as Kiki would have wanted. Kiki loved to dance, and we will dance the night away in her memory. Per her family’s wishes, proceeds from the event, along with other memorial contributions, will be donated to the Michiana Humane Society and The Brain Aneurysm Foundation.
Though grief is the price of love, we must continue to shine even brighter. Kiki’s starlight will forever guide us, and we will carry her light with us always.
For those unable to attend Friday, donation jars will be available at Casey’s, and our friends at The False Front will also host a giveback event on October 3rd.
