Join Hawaiʻi Nature Center and Hawaiian Ultra Running Team (HURT) for the Rainforest Ramble on Saturday, September 26. Sponsored by Kapiolani Women’s and Children’s Hospital, this fun run and educational adventure through Makiki's rainforest is open to all keiki, ages 6–14. ʻOhana are welcome to join. Keiki will explore interactive learning about native plants and animals, Hawaiian cultural practices and environmental stewardship. The event begins at Hawaiʻi Nature Center 2131 Makiki Heights Drive in Honolulu and opening festivities include giveaways such as Haimont keiki hydration vests from Patagonia Honolulu.
