Just to say HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!!!! To finish the year off I'm gonna tell you about Rainford Junction Festival 2026. It's new and it's not been done before. It's a Community Interest Company with a Youth Fund to sponsor youngsters on their journey through bluegrass and old time music. It's a festival of communities celebrating youth and inclusivity.
For The Saturday Night Gala we already have prizes of a bursary sailing week with Sessions and Sail on their Americana week in September 2026 and a fully funded week at Sorefingers 2027 from an anonymous donor. It's all about the future of bluegrass and old time music in the British Isles. It's a Youth Fund and a celebration of our community. You can read more here:
