Rainbow Rag Rug : A Upcycle Crochet Workshop
When: Tuesday, June 16th and Thursday, June 18th
Time: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
What:
This Pride Month, we're celebrating color, creativity, and giving old things new life! Join us for a two-day crochet workshop where you'll transform worn-out clothes, old sheets, tablecloths, and fabric scraps into vibrant, one-of-a-kind rag rugs bursting with rainbow energy.
No fancy supplies needed — just your imagination and a love for color! You'll learn how to cut or tear fabric into strips and crochet them into beautiful, functional pieces like rugs, placemats, pot holders, or little plant pot protectors for your furniture. Every piece is as unique as the fabrics you bring to it.
All materials are provided — but we encourage you to raid your closet or linen cabinet and bring your own fabric pieces to weave your personal story into every stitch!
Upcycle. Create. Celebrate. Let your true colors shine!
