Rainbow History Project Volunteer Working Groups for October

Come join Rainbow History’s Volunteer working groups!

RHP’s volunteers gather to share LGBTQ history, exchange status updates, and invite new volunteers to join a project. Our ongoing project teams include:

• Social Geography: Places & Spaces, Timelines, and Walking Tours (Ongoing)
• Archiving & Oral history (Ongoing)
• Events, Comms, and Fundraising (Ongoing)

In 2024-2025, we are mobilizing our work around two large initiatives:

• RHP's WorldPride 2025 Exhibit: "Pickets, Protests, and Parties: The History of Gay Pride in Washington" (June 2025)
• RHP's 25th Anniversary: "Celebrating our Community Pioneers" (November 2025)

Meeting Agenda:

• Arrival social/intros (15-20 min)
• Volunteers and team leads present on their projects and needs (30-40 min)
• Break & chat (10-15 min)
• Updates on Initiatives and how to help (20-30 min)
• Next steps (10 min)
