Enjoy a summer evening cruising around town by trolley & visit three public rain gardens! Learn about rain gardens and how to create one!
About this Event

We'll ride by trolley to visit three rain gardens, created by local students and non-profits. Learn about rain gardens, why they're important, and how to build your own - plus resources to help! The tour will meet and finish at Flathead Conservation District, 133 Interstate Lane in Kalispell (Evergreen, behind Franz Bakery Outlet). The tour will depart promptly at 6:00 pm, please arrive by 5:45 pm. Dress for the weather, bring water. We'll learn about rain gardens, native plants and other resources to help support clean water, wildlife and other natural resources. Brought to you by Flathead Rain Garden Initiative: Flathead Conservation District, Center for Native Plants and the City of Kalispell's Stormwater Program. The tour is free but registration is required. Ages: Adults 18+.
