Railroad Spike Knife Class at War Horse Forge

At War Horse Forge, veterans, active duty military, and first responders learn blacksmithing skills using traditional techniques. Our programs are located on our farm in Stafford, Virginia.

In this class, you will forge a knife from a railroad spike, putting your own twist on the handle. Dave will walk you through process step by step. No experience is needed.

The class is limited to 8 people. Each attendee needs to register individually, must be at least 18 years old, and needs to be a veteran, active duty military or first responder.

The only fee is $25 to register for the class. Upon completion of the class, you can choose to have your $25 refunded (minus Eventbrite fees)or donate it to War Horse Forge. We hope this nominal (and refundable) fee will ensure those who sign-up for a class do show up as we often have waitlists. If this fee is a hardship, please let us know (540/538-7453).
