Skill Level: Intermediate to AdvancedClass Length: 6 weeks, 6pm-8:30pm each Wednesday
NO CLASS ON DECEMBER 4th. YES THIS CLASS WILL MEET ON NOVEMBER 27TH.
Class Description: Ready to push yourself beyond the basics and advance your skills? This class offers more intensive instruction with weekly critiques and challenges. Students will be asked to present ideas for personal projects at week one, but will also be expected to participate in group "throwdown's", discussions, and more. Students should have proficient knowledge in throwing, glazing, and more, and must be able to throw at least a 6" cylinder. Emphasis will be places on working with intent, design and execution of more complicate projects, and the development of a personal style. This is NOT a class for beginners.
Age Limitations: Ages 18 & Up
Supplies Included: Tuition covers all clay, use of studio glazes, all firings, and use of communal tools and equipment.
Additional Supplies: Students should bring their own throwing tools or plan to purchase a basic Ceramic tool kit. Available for purchase at the store for $30. We highly suggest students have their own bats, bat pins, and butane torch combo.
