Enjoy a guided one-way tour of the Adirondack Rail Trail from Lake Placid to Saranac Lake featuring stops at three craft breweries complete with van shuttle service back to the start after your ride.
Meet your professional guides in Lake Placid for an 11.5 mile one-way ride to Saranac Lake on the vehicle-free Adirondack Rail Trail. You'll stop at Ray Brook Brewhouse midway through the ride for a tasting, then end at RiverTrail Beerworks for a second tasting before you - and your bike - are shuttled back to Lake Placid for a final tasting at Big Slide Brewery & Public House.

Ray Brook Brewhouse
Our first stop (at mile 6.5) features a quick jaunt off of the Adirondack Rail Trail into the hamlet of Ray Brook for a stop at Ray Brook Brewhouse. The Brewhouse is a unique brewery producing wild and traditional brews, paired with equally adventurous dishes using both local and exotic ingredients in a rustic and homey space.
RiverTrail Beerworks
This riverfront brewpub features twelve house beers on tap. For those non-beer drinkers, RiverTrail Beerworks offer a full bar with wine, liquor, prosecco, and ciders. And with a large, heated, screened-in patio, two firepits right on the river, and lots of Adirondack chairs to sit outside, there's plenty of room to relax after the ride.
Big Slide Brewery & Public House
This modern brewery features a hybrid 3.5/5 barrel brew-house right in the center of our space, concrete-topped bar, a comfortable dining room, a beautiful (dog-friendly) patio, and a semi-open kitchen. Plus Big Slide Brewery & Public House has 10 house beers on tap, with a wide variety of styles from Sours and Goldens to Pale Ales, IPAs, Porters, Stouts, and Belgian beers.
