We are excited to announce the fourth #RailRidersClub trip! This is a free-to-join adventure where you can tag along with us as we take the train to Chuk Samet Station to visit Nang Ram Beach. The trip will take place on Sunday 7th September 2025.
We will go down on Express No. 997 that departs from Bangkok Station (Hua Lamphong) at 6:45am. Tickets are 170 baht each way. We will go to the end of the line at Chuk Samet where we will arrive at 10:10am. There are songtaews waiting for us at the station to take us to the nearby beach.
OPTION A: We will have about two hours or so on the beach to relax and explore and maybe have a bite to eat or a coffee. We then head back to station and catch Ordinary No. 284 to Pattaya. We will have about an hour or so on the beach here before heading back to the station. Here we will catch the air-conditioned Sprinter train Express No. 998 for the return trip to Bangkok. We will arrive back at 6:55pm.
OPTION B: if you want it simpler and also spend more time on Nang Ram Beach, you can stay there for about four hours and then head back to the station to catch Express No. 998 back to Bangkok.
