Rags to Riches: Repurposing Worn Clothes Into Crocheted Rugs
Advertisement
Sustainable living can start at home. Learn how to turn old t-shirts, socks and other clothes ready for the rag box into skeins of cloth "yarn" and then crochet them into rugs. Both the cloth yarn strips and regular yarn will be used to crochet the rug. Basic crochet skills are a prerequisite for this class.
Some supplies provided. Please bring some clean used clothes (old t-shirts, for example) that can be torn up to include in your rug. If you have your own crochet hooks, feel free to bring them.
Adults. Please register at www.dbrl.org/register-columbia starting October 29.
