Junk (Visual) Journaling
Advertisement
Junk journaling is all about collecting little bits of everyday life and turning them into something meaningful. There's no right way to do it, which is exactly why we love it.
This workshop will be guided by Amber, one of Third Space's founders and long time visual artist, who'll share the way she approaches visual journaling along with a curated collection of papers, vintage finds, and creative scraps from her own personal stash for everyone to explore. She'll guide you through a few creative layouts to try.
Ages 18+
Each guest will receive their own kraft journal to begin filling with memories, inspiration, and tiny treasures. We'll have plenty of shared supplies available, but we encourage you to bring any junk of your own!
Some ideas of junk to collect:
• old greeting cards
• ticket stubs
• receipts
• magazine pages
• book pages
• postcards
• maps
• fabric scraps
• ribbon
• tags and labels
• wrapping paper
• photos or photocopies
• pressed flowers or leaves
• interesting packaging
• anything that makes you smile or reminds you of a moment
No art experience needed.
We can't wait to journal with you!
If cost is the only thing keeping you from joining us, please send us a message. We believe everyone deserves a seat at the table!
