Do you like to craft but don’t like anything too complicated? Want to make something practical, unique and fun? Have you got some old jumpers, T-shirts and trousers you could recycle?Then Rag Rugging might be for you!
Spend some time learning this simple craft, making a rug to your own design and connecting with like-minded ruggers. You’ll be following in the footsteps of Bloomsbury artists, and our wartime ancestors, make do and mend to artistic masterpieces!
Anyone with reasonable vision and hands that can tug a hook through canvas can do this. Basic materials will be provided, bring any wool and T-shirt-based fabric to blend into your unique creations
NO prior experience is necessary. Children over the age of 13 are welcome on a booked space with an adult.
Every Tuesday 23 September - 14 October, 7-9pm
