The multi-award-winning Rae Gordon is known for serving up a potent stew of gritty blues and heartfelt soul–soaring vocals. Her band finished 3rd place at the International Blues Challenge in 2017 (finals judge Walter Trout said afterward, “I gave her a score of 10, the best score you can give. She made an incredible impression.”) and since them has been racking up international play and charting with their original material.
This time she brings part of the NW Women Rythm and Blues show with her for some blues and holiday cheer.
Award winning Sonny Hess is the mastermind of the NW Women Rythm & Blues show and has been advocating for and helping women soar in their blues careers for almost 30 years. Her holiday shows are aftern sold out and she has a diverse variety of women she rotates for her shows.
Lady Kat has been a pillar of the blues community in Portland for years and her warm, deep and dramatic voice is often likened to Etta James herself.
