Space Rock artist Radio Houston Project will be headlining their first and only show of 2025 in the Union Bar, Belfast, featuring support from Blue Deputy, Midnight Housework and Sensory Overload.
Radio Houston Project formed in 2023 from the ashes of Radiant Silvergun, the space rock alias of guitarist and singer/songwriter Dylan Robinson (Gorilla Warfare). Originally a solo act, Radio Houston Project now performs as a two-piece rock duo with drumming extraordinaire Aidan Nash (Bitch Sister, Black Lanterns, Corner Shop Prophets) and electronic backing tracks to create an anthemic, visceral experience fuelled by the sounds of ambient, shoegaze and house music.
RHP will be taking a step back from performing live during the rest of 2025 to focus on recording their feature-length debut, "The Space Album", slated for release in 2026. This will be your only chance to join Radio Houston on their intergalactic journey into the foreseeable future.
"I instantly loved how unique his music was, it was unlike anything I had ever heard before, we live in a country that has a very oversaturated music scene and to hear something so different was refreshing." - NuMuze (2023)

Formed in 2020 in Philadelphia but since transplanted to Belfast as of 2022, Blue Deputy began as a low-key bedroom-bound pandemic project which has grown to be so much more. Their self-produced debut single "New Jersey" gained the project a cult following online, with fans drawn to its sparse, beautiful melody and Andy Bunting's crushing lyrical vulnerability. The current lineup of Andy Bunting (vocals and guitar), Caoilfhinn McFadden (bass) and Cathal Francis (guitar and vocals) now work to combine the sparkling twang of the band's American midwest emo roots with elements of folk rock and bedroom pop, with soaring slide guitar, danceable bass lines and lush harmonies.
Midnight Housework, hailing from Northern Ireland, have quickly carved a niche with their debut single “Who’s Gonna Keep Me Holding On”.Labelling themselves as “bittersweet ambient rock”, songwriters, Sean, Thomas, Blaine and Luke joined together to capture their relationships to emotional liminal spaces. A quiet drive home through winding country, the resonance of an empty building. Midnight Housework thrive in creating a soundtrack for those moments bridging the gap between fear, excitement and blissful naivety. A raucous thunder cloud of instrumental chaos interspersed with moments of sweet serenity. Maintaining a unique brand through their minimal and deeply personal music and artwork. In late 2024, Midnight Housework began to establish a strong local presence by performing at popular Belfast venues like The Empire and Voodoo.
Sensory Overload are an up and coming Grunge (ish) alternative rock band based between Derry and the North Coast, Taking inspiration from bands such as Silverchair and the Smashing Pumpkins. Sensory Overload are Jack Orr (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Dearbhla Duddy (Rhthym Guitar/Vocals), Fergus Stewart (Bass) and Aaron Diamond (Drums)
Since founding in the summer of 2023, Sensory Overload have been a regular feature in all-ages line-ups in Derry city having played multiple sold out shows across Derry and recent shows in Belfast.
