This time we're thrilled to welcome Malindi Myers, the Bank of England’s Agent in the South West.
Malindi will set out the Bank’s analysis of the economy and inflationary pressures, and the macroeconomic backdrop to the MPC’s interest rate decision. She will touch upon what is driving inflation, how economic growth is performing, labour markets, and the all-important “second round effects” of higher energy prices stemming from the Middle East conflict.
As usual, there will be opportunity for Q&A and discussion after the presentation.
