Come visit Pavilion Square, once a derelict space and a potential economic victim of the Covid pandemic.
It went through a brief rejuvenation, a jumpstart with an interspersion of subcultural and artistic activity, with former tenants Independent Archive Ltd and Artcore Punks calling the mall home albeit for a few months.
Fast forward to early 2025, the mall is now is back to its intrepid days.
We restart our street storytelling nous by introducing a new format where we run the tour from 4pm to 530pm on Sundays (in addition to the standard 6pm - 730pm 'excitement hour' which we will announce in detail soon!)

Join independent creative Shaiful Risan, also the unofficial Creative Liaison of Pavilion Square as he brings you in arguably the most authentic local nuanced tour of modern Singapore.
Commiserate with the dream of 'the basement Subculture Stretch' starting from mall stalwarts RAD STUDIO; whose music and tiny-events settings has drawn considerable footfall through the mall.
Sneak a peek into available retail units best suited for the niche craft and creative folks out there!
The tour will also include a special ode to a personal memory, a walk through the lorongs of Geylang.

Join Shaiful as he revisits past routes of his younger days where he once explored and comfortably navigated around vice, which has molded an adventurous spirit that he has embodied from his youth to present day.

Amalgamate with us as we framework a street storyteller reality that touches on the elaborate social juxtaposition of needs and feeds of Geylang; the 'proper red zone' of the city state.

Envisioned through the specific optics of Pavilion Square dreamt as a grassroots incubation-in-tandem with socio-spatial appropriation.
