We're doing a special holiday popup Saturday Dec 20th from 12-4PM in Falls Church with The Cheese Cartel featuring delicious Raclette platters and we're pairing with not one, but TWO different flights of hard to find bourbons!Enjoy platters of gooey, nutty, buttery Raclette cheese scraped onto warm French round bread, roasted potatoes and Genoa salami. And cornichons, yay cornichons! Each platter is $22 and will definitely fill you up with warm delicious happiness!
Wine and beer go great with cheese, but so does bourbon so we'll have all three. And as a special holiday event, we'll be doing our popular bourbon flights with 2 different options.
Each flight consists of 4 half pours (.75 oz) of bourbons and whiskeys that are hard to find and usually pretty pricey. We've marked them down considerably and put them in flights so you can have a chance to try these unattainable whiskeys at a price that makes them much more attainable.
The Cask-ish flight - A flight of whiskey mostly finished on wine casks - $40 per flight
High West's A Midwinter Night's Dram Act 15, Scene 9 - A port cask finished blend of ryes from High West Distillery in Park City Utah
Angel's Envy Private Selection Single Barrel Bourbon - A cask strength bourbon finished in port casks
Penelope Cooper Series Valencia Cask - This whiskey from Indiana based Penelope distillery is aged in Vino de Naranja casks from Seville
Blanton's Single Barrel Bourbon - Only aged in oak casks, but Blanton's is still one of the most sought after bourbons, so we had to include it!
The Wheat-ish flight - A flight of whiskey mostly made with a significant wheat grain bill - $24 per flight
1792 Sweet Wheat Bourbon - The combination of wheat in the grain bill and a more moderate alcohol level make this a softer finishing bourbon.
1792 Bottle in Bond Bourbon - To contrast the Sweet Wheat, we added the stronger rye based bottled in bond to see how they compare
Green River Wheated - Acclaimed as the "Best Bourbon in the World" at the 2025 New York Spirits competition, this bourbon's wheat profile is bolstered by a higher alcohol content for more demanding palettes
Weller C.Y.P.B. Bourbon - Weller a pioneer of wheat bourbon and CYPB is a fan favorite.
