Join the First Coast YMCA and Jewish Community Alliance for the 3rd Annual Racing Against Hate 5K Run/Walk at the Winston Family YMCA on Sunday, February 22, 2026! Let's lace up and come together to celebrate unity, diversity, and inclusivity in our community. Whether you're running to beat your personal best or walking to show your support, this event is more than a race-it's a movement for change and hope. The annual event will include a 5K run or walk over the Acosta Bridge in the main road (southbound) starting at 1:00pm. A 1-Mile Fun Run along the Riverwalk will start at 2:00pm. Both runs are open to runners and walkers of all levels. You will receive a Racing Against Hate T-shirt and custom medal. The Unity Village will be open pre- and post-event with community partners, activities and food trucks. A brief warm-up/stretch will be held by our YMCA & JCA instructors for all ages & abilities.
As part of this movement to promote unity in our community, we invite you to get your friends involved and support your efforts! Through our fundraising portal, you can invite others to show their support and encouragement of a better you and a better community. Proceeds will benefit the First Coast YMCA and Jewish Community Alliance's Together Against Hate: Promoting Unity in the Community partnership to bring education, conversation and speaker events in 2026-2027.
