Bright Future: Unlocking EU Career Pathways for Young Racialised Europeans is a flagship youth event designed to inspire, inform, and empower the next generation of changemakers across the Racialised European Diaspora.

Delivered in partnership with the University of Westminster, this event brings together young people, policymakers, and professionals to explore pathways into EU careers that are often overlooked yet highly impactful.

Across many communities, traditional professions such as medicine and law are seen as the most secure and prestigious options. However, careers within EU institutions, Member States’ administrations, and diplomatic missions offer equally powerful opportunities to influence public policy, advance social justice, and shape Europe’s future.

Importantly, the event also seeks to create opportunities for racialised European youth to actively help shape the future of UK–EU relations, ensuring their voices and lived experiences are reflected in emerging EU policy and dialogue in the Diaspora.
