Compositrices, productrices et multi-instrumentistes, Rachika Nayar et Nina Keith unissent leurs forces sur Disiniblud, premier album collaboratif prévu le 18 juillet sur le label Smugglers Way. Porté par une complicité instinctive née d’une rencontre à Brooklyn, le duo développe une œuvre introspective et singulière, entre ambient, néoclassique, électronique expérimentale et post-rock.
Rachika Nayar, révélée par Heaven Come Crashing (salué par Pitchfork et The New York Times), mêle synthés grandioses et éclats breakbeat, tandis que Nina Keith, formée en autodidacte, tisse des compositions délicates aux pianos, bois et textures modulaires (MARANASATI 19111 feat. Julie Byrne). Ensemble, elles explorent l’enfance, la mémoire et la transformation dans une musique sans paroles, à la fois mélancolique, onirique et profondément émotionnelle.

Componisten, producers en multi-instrumentalisten Rachika Nayar en Nina Keith bundelen hun krachten op ‘Disiniblud’, hun eerste gezamenlijke album dat op 18 juli uitkomt bij het label Smugglers Way. Gedreven door een instinctieve band die ontstond tijdens een ontmoeting in Brooklyn, ontwikkelt het duo een introspectief en uniek oeuvre, tussen ambient, neoklassiek, experimentele elektronica en postrock.
Rachika Nayar, bekend van Heaven Come Crashing (geprezen door Pitchfork en The New York Times), combineert grandioze synthesizers met breakbeat-uitbarstingen, terwijl de autodidact Nina Keith delicate composities weeft met piano’s, houtblazers en modulaire texturen (‘MARANASATI 19111’ feat. Julie Byrne). Samen verkennen ze kindertijd, herinneringen en transformatie in woordeloze muziek die tegelijkertijd melancholisch, dromerig en diep emotioneel is.
