Rachel Peterson with Natalie D. Richards; "Killing Sadie"

An in-store event with Rachel Peterson in conversation with Natalie D. Richards, celebrating the release of Peterson's debut, Killing Sadie
-------------
Rachel Peterson graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in English and Creative Writing. After starting her career as a copywriter, she made the shift to the technology space and spent nearly a decade in New York City leading marketing teams for international tech companies before stepping away from the corporate world and focusing full-time on her career as an author. Rachel now splits her time between NYC and the Midwest, where she lives with her husband Ken, their dog Olive, and horse Hope.
An avid equestrian, Rachel spends her free time on horseback honing her dressage skills, and is always happy to bury herself in a good book – especially when paired with a great cup of coffee (or a glass of wine).
Natalie D. Richards writes page-turning Young Adult thrillers and Middle Grade adventure novels. She is the author of more than ten novels, two New York Times Bestsellers, Five Total Strangers (2020) and Seven Dirty Secrets (2021), as well as 49 Miles Alone, a Mystery Writers of America Edgar Award Winner.
Of Two Perfect Lies (2026), Kirkus Review said, “The breakneck pacing and mounting tension are balanced by [an] unfolding romance... A gripping tale of betrayal that will keep readers breathlessly turning pages.” 49 Miles Alone (2024), about two cousins hiking in the remote Utah wilderness, won the Edgar Award for Best Young Adult, and was nominated for an International Thriller Writers Award.
When she isn’t shopping a manuscript or writing, she can most likely be found wading through the huge stacks of dog-eared paperback books that have taken over her bedroom. Natalie currently lives in Ohio with her three children and (very) large dog, Wookie.
