Rachael Davis and the new Cadillac Community Big Band return to open the New Year with A Night in New Orleans. They will bring you Dixieland and Mardi Gras tunes you'd expect to hear in New Orleans during Mardi Gras.
Cadillac native Rachael Davis is a long time favorite and has played on our stage many times in solo performances and with other artists like May Erlewine, Lindsay Lou, Joshua Davis, Claudia Schmidt, family members Tiyi Schippers, David Bunce and Zak Bunce and husband Dominic John Davis.
The Cadillac Community Big Band is a community ensemble from Cadillac, Michigan that made its debut in 2025. It began with a small group of ten musicians on April 23rd at the Methodist Church, quickly outgrowing the space and moving to Cadillac High School in June, thanks to connections with the local education organization Jam and Bread and their CAPS Crew program. The musicians in the band are doctors, lawyers, college students, music teachers and just regular folks from the Cadillac area. After reading borrowed charts for months, the band had its first public performance in August, opening for the Swing Band Jive At Five, and followed up with a full, successful concert and fundraiser at the Cadillac High School Auditorium in September.
Adult tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door, students 13-18 are $12/$15 adv./door and kids 12 and under are free with an adult. Advance tickets can be purchased now online at Ludus tickets and soon in Cadillac at Horizon Books and the After 26 Depot Cafe
Last year's show with these fine performers was a sellout. We recommend you get your tickets well in advance so you don't miss out on the FUN!!
