Gallery Pradarshak presents Rabi: Harvesting Artistic Expression, a group exhibition that draws from the winter Rabi season—an agricultural cycle associated with patient growth, deep nourishment, and the quiet certainty of harvest. Using Rabi as metaphor, the show brings together contemporary artists who translate themes of nurturing, renewal, emotional ripening, and inner transformation into powerful visual vocabularies.
The participating artists respond to the idea of “harvest” not as a literal outcome, but as a process: the steady accumulation of thought, memory, colour, texture, and lived experience. From Kailas Satambekar’s textured figurative tribute to village women and monsoon fields, to Ganesh Apraj’s meditations on colour as consciousness, the works reflect a wide spectrum of artistic growth. Ashwini Athalaye’s symbolic abstractions map internal geographies of freedom and longing, while Nalini Joshi creates surreal, story-rich atmospheres that invite slow looking. Nature’s rhythms echo through Meetul Agarwal’s serene mixed media works and Mary Tina Shamli Pillay’s luminous abstracts inspired by the hope and joy of harvest. Maitreyee Nimbolkar’s visual storytelling evokes ephemerality—like a memory, a place, or the feeling of falling in love.
Rabi invites viewers to pause, reflect, and gather meaning—like the season itself.
