Raaz o Niyaz
About this Event
Sur Sangum Foundation invites you into an evening of stillness, breath, and music; a space to slow down, listen deeply, and simply be.
The evening opens with a gentle, guided breathwork session led by Salimah Kassim-Lakha. More than an introduction, it is a quiet prelude; an opportunity to arrive fully, soften the mind, and settle into the present before the music begins.
From this shared stillness emerges Raaz o Niyaz.
A conversation between Neha Mahajan (sitar) and Zaheer Abbas Janmohamed (tabla), where melody and rhythm speak in a language beyond words. Rooted in the rich tradition of Indian classical music, their performance unfolds as an intimate dialogue; sometimes contemplative, sometimes playful, always deeply human.
Hosted at MyVitae, a space dedicated to wellbeing and reflection, the evening offers a rare kind of listening experience. Here, music is not performed at you; it is experienced with you.
This is more than a concert.
It is an invitation to pause, to breathe, and to rediscover the quiet places within.
