About this Event

RA OPEN MIC's "Poetry & Basketball" is a staple event and we are on the third quarter! QRT.3 is all about sharing your art form, staying active through basketball, learning society and having a whole lot of fun!

We're playing King of the Court!

Objective: End up at the "King's Court" by the end of the tournament to be crowned Basketball Royalty!

• 2v2 at each court
• Win the court, move up towards the "King's Court," but if you lose you stay right where you are
• First to score 3, 5 or 7 pts (player's choice), wins the 2v2
• Prepare to play several rounds, if you wish to be crowned "King of the Court"

Rules:

• Fence is "out-of-bounce"
• "Take-back" the ball to the starting/foul line after rebounds from the other team
• You and the opposing team may play up to 3, 5, or 7 pts. No more than that.
• After time is called, all games end. Ties will be broken by Free-throw.
• #1 is the "King's Court"
• Play fair- balance the boat
