Quiz Night to raise funds for Vic Franklin

Vic Franklin, was brutally attacked by two Rottweilers while walking his own dog near his home. This horrific assault left Vic with life-changing injuries, resulting in the loss of his left leg, right arm, and left middle finger. Thanks to the quick thinking of a neighbour who intervened, Vic survived, but his physical and their emotional recovery has been overwhelming for both Vic and his wife Shelia and the wider family.

Sadly, Vic’s injuries were so severe that he required multiple amputations, and since then, he’s been struggling to adapt to life in his home. Despite some help from friends and family raising £4,000 for minor adjustments (like widening the front door), Vic is still unable to access basic living spaces. He is living in his lounge, with a commode in the corner, and cannot even get to his garden or his bathroom.

Vic needs -

• A wet room installed in his home
• A stairlift so Vic can safely reach the first floor and his wet room
• A mobility vehicle to transport Vic and his wheelchair
• Access and landscaping of his garden to create a safe outdoor space

The cost for these essential modifications is estimated at £15,000 to £25,000.
