Come along to the Republic Bar and Café on the 19th of October for a quiz night in honour of Hobart’s beloved tabletop & trading card gamer, Aidan Lyle.Topics include Magic the Gathering, Warhammer, Dungeons & Dragons, theatre, Jim Henson, musicals, Jim Henson musicals, PC gaming (DOS and more recent), British sitcoms, memes, ‘90s wrestling, viral YouTube videos, and many more of the idiosyncratic hobbies and interests that Aidan loved and participated in.
Entry is $10 per person and will go towards Shake It Up Australia to help fight Parkinson’s disease, which was a cause near and dear to Aidan’s heart. Prizes to be announced closer to the date; there needs to be some dramatic tension.
Doors open at 6:30 for a 7pm start, so get there nice and early to order dinner and drinks before the rush begins. Tables are limited, and bookings are highly encouraged to avoid missing out on a night of satisfactory entertainment. DM our event organiser Marcus to reserve a spot.
