Cass Regional Medical Center will host QuitSmart®, a free smoking cessation program, starting Monday, June 3, 5:00 p.m.The QuitSmart program combines powerful treatments to help you break free from tobacco. QuitSmart consists of four sessions.
The dates are as follows: June 3, 17, and 19, you must attend the first session to be in the program.
QuitSmart was created by Dr. Robert Shipley, director of the Duke University Quit Smoking Clinic, and is taught by certified QuitSmart leader. In a study of five U.S. Air Force bases, 66% of QuitSmart participants were still smoke-free six months after quitting, compared to 16-30% of those in four other stop smoking programs.
The QuitSmart kit includes a guidebook, a hypnosis CD, and a patented cigarette substitute.
