Who is the event open too?
The event is open to Couples, Thurples, Quads, and Packs as it requires all participating humans to have undertaken and agreed the minimum of negotiations for a rope lab, between all involved. Unfortunately, as much as we love singles, we can't facilitate time before the event for you to have these negotiations and thus you can't find a partner on the day.
Sadly on this occasion, we were unable to procure a fully accessible venue so please note there are stairs and no lift access to the venue, so we regret that this event is only open to those who can manage stairs. (we are looking for alternatives for future events).
What to bring
Please bring joy, acceptance of others, and an open mind. Get some sleep before you arrive, eat well, and hydrate.
- A few hanks of bondage suitable rope (no suspensions, so no need for gear)
- Safety equipment (EMT shears, a blanket, towel & water)
- Aftercare food as needed*
- Any medications you may use or need
- Paper and pen recommended
- Electronic devices won't be permitted in the education space - if you have an accessability need for your device then please reach out and we will accomodate to the best of our ability
- The space has some yoga mats available but you may wish to bring your own, plus optionally a cushion, pillow or yoga block for sitting on during floor portions of the day
*Please do not bring anything that contains nuts as one person in our group has an airborne nut allergy.
If you have any queries, suggestions, or requirements we will be thrilled to chat to you about them.
- The venue does not allow nudity
- We require vanilla / street legal clothing at all times
- We expect it to be warm but can't guarentee - consider layers
- We expect you to be tying or getting tied, so please wear clothing that allows for a good range of movement - think what you'd wear for yoga or to the gym
- We recommend well fitted sports wear for those wishing to bottom this is not required however, please wear what you are comfortable with
- We recommend staying away from clothing with too many straps, buckles or spikes as these can be uncomfortable when tying/being tied
- We will ask you to remove shoes during the participatory classes
There is an option for our tutors to draw your anatomy on you (in a safe, temporary, and consensual way) to help you understand the safety aspects of bondage. You can of course say no. If you wanted to bring old pale clothes we could of course draw on them instead/as well.
