Welcome to Quilting 4 a Cause!
For many children in foster care, a quilt becomes more than just a blanket—it’s something they can call their own. Your time and creativity can bring comfort during times of transition and uncertainty.
Come join us for a fun and heartwarming series of meetups where we will be making quilts for children in foster care. Let's come together and create something special for those who could use a little extra warmth and comfort. The quilts will be distributed by Sandra Blankenship of the Bell County Child Welfare Board to foster care youth.
No sewing experience is required – just bring your creativity and willingness to help out! We'll provide all the materials needed to make beautiful quilts for kids.
About Us
Killeen Creators is a community service organization with a mission to combat food insecurity, Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD), and disenfranchisement by building individual and community capacity through our Community Garden, Civic Empowerment, and ART of Recovery initiatives.
