Marshalltown LGBTQ+ is excited to invite you to our group led Quiet Hobby Club (formerly Silent Book Club)! We will meet select Mondays in June, July & August to enjoy our quiet hobbies. 📚🎧📝🖍🎨 ⏰️ 3:00pm - 4:30pm
Select Mondays:
June 15th + 29th
July 13th + 27th
August 3rd + 17th
We encourage everyone to disconnect from their phones and fully enjoy the experience. Join us at West End Park under the shelter. Picnic tables are available.
Don’t forget to bring a blanket or lawn chair, your favorite beverage and/or snack, and of course, your hobby! We recommend bringing bug spray, sun glasses & sunscreen as well; and please dress for the weather.
*There’s no cost to participate, and all ages are welcome! Kids and teens under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
*If severe weather would arise we will cancel & reconvene on our next scheduled date.
