Looking for simple ways to eat well without spending a lot? Join this friendly, hands-on course and learn how to make quick, healthy lunches using affordable, everyday ingredients.
Perfect for beginners, this course shows you how to prepare fresh, balanced meals with minimal equipment and no previous cooking experience. Each session introduces a new recipe, and you’ll get to make and enjoy your food in a relaxed, supportive group.
What you’ll make includes:
- Vegetable wraps
- Homemade pesto pasta (from scratch)
- Couscous Salad
- Taco shells with fresh toppings
All ingredients are provided free of charge - eat what you make each session and take home simple recipes to try again.

Times and Attending
This friendly class takes place Friday lunchtimes from 12 June - 3 July
We start at 12 noon and finish at 2pm - lunch is included
You will need to complete an Exeter College Registration Form at the first session.
Venue
This class takes place in the Parish Room at St David's Church, Exeter. The Room is situated to the side of the church, off Queen's Terrace,and directly opposite Exeter College. Look out for the bright pink banner!
Commitment: we ask that learners endeavour to commit to the full course to enable everyone to get the most from the sessions.
Courses are popular, we now run a wait-list for our Eventbrite courses, please advise us if you are no longer able to attend the course so we can offer your place to somebody else.
