Welcome to Queerly Yours - a celebration of all things 2SLGBTQQIA+! Join us in InnerSpace Art Therapy Studio's beautiful group studio space - cozy vibes, artsy energy and aesthetically pleasing-ness. This event is a safe(r) space for folks to express themselves, meet new people, spend time in community, and get to know themselves through art-making and creativity. Join me in the cozy, creative glow of InnerSpace Art Therapy Studio for Working Out the Kinks — a queer, consent-positive space dedicated to breaking down the stigmas and taboos surrounding kink, pleasure, and authentic sexual expression.

Whether you’re brand new to kink or have years of experience, this session is all about curiosity, community, and connection. We’ll explore kink from a sex-positive, shame-free lens while keeping things playful, accessible, and deeply affirming.

What to expect:
✨ A take-home Yes/No/Maybe list to help you explore desires and boundaries
✨ A funny Dog Toy vs. Sex Toy game (with a kinky-themed necklace for the winner!)

✨ A collaborative art activity where we’ll create our own “kinky collage” as we chat

✨ Space to ask questions, share insights, and connect with others in an open, supportive environment

Together, we’ll honour the beauty of queer sexuality, celebrate pleasure as an art form, and make room for honest conversations that often stay in the shadows. Come for the laughs, stay for the learning, and leave a little more connected to yourself and your community.

About Brooke:

Hey I’m Brooke, I use they/she/he pronouns. As a queer, trans, polyamorous, and kinky social worker trained in sex therapy, I’m committed to creating safer spaces where people can show up authentically and without shame. My work focuses on supporting the kink community through advocacy, education, and community-building, with the goal of reducing stigma and honouring the many ways people express intimacy, identity, and connection. I approach this group with a trauma-informed, collaborative lens—meeting people where they are, celebrating diversity in relationships and desires, and fostering a space where curiosity, consent, and empowerment guide the process.

*Unfortunately the studio space is not fully accessible at this time, there are a set of stairs to enter the building. Additionally, the bathrooms are gendered, however, during the times of the Queerly Yours events we do cover up the signs to make them gender neutral.

Unfortunately, lot parking is not available anymore. Street parking is available outside of the studio, as well as around the corner off of Main St. Our sincerest apologies for the parking change up at this time :(

Info: Soft start means that we won't officially get started with the event / workshop until 1:15 PM. This gives folks a chance to show up and arrive, get oriented to the space, move around the space, reflect and connect with others, grab snacks and beverages, etc.

Info: This is very approximate - but we will go around a meet everyone briefly (you are always welcome to pass or opt out of any sharing or speaking components of the workshop if you don't feel comfy). Lex will officially orient everyone to the space, where to find things, bathroom situations, etc. - as well as extend official invitations for snacks, beverages, freedom to take breaks whenever needed, art supplies. You are always welcome to speak to Lex directly if you are wishing for assistance in accessing anything in the space or have any questions or concerns.

Info: Please see description above for more specifics about the artist and their offerings. Offerings are always an invitation, so if you just wish to sit and listen and do your own thing in the space, you are more than welcome to as long as we are all being respectful of each other's space and the facilitator's capacity / ability to share their information and practice.

Info: Very approximate time frame - we will check in with one another on how the day went, what we learned or want to take from the workshop, and things that came up for us throughout the process. We will make metaphorical offerings to the group and one another in order to close in a good way. Folks are welcome to stick around for a little bit afterwards to chat further.
