QueerLens: Stories in Focus is a dynamic program presented by SC Black Pride, designed to celebrate and amplify the voices of the Black LGBTQ+ community through the powerful medium of storytelling. This initiative offers a platform for individuals to share their unique experiences, challenges, triumphs, and perspectives, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the diverse narratives within the queer Black community.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a series of storytelling sessions, workshops, and panel discussions led by renowned authors, activists, and community leaders. Through these interactive and empowering events, QueerLens aims to highlight the intersectionality of race, gender, and sexual orientation, shedding light on the rich tapestry of identities and experiences that define the Black LGBTQ+ experience.
