Step into a night of Renaissance romance and revelry at our exclusive Queer Speed Dating and Friending event, hosted in the heart of downtown Olympia at Cup of Swords Tavern! Don your finest attire and prepare to embark on a journey of connections and merriment.

In the ambiance of this renaissance themed oasis, you'll have the chance to meet fellow singles in a series of brief, enchanting encounters. Engage in lively conversation, share tales of your adventures, and discover kindred spirits amidst the jovial atmosphere.

Whether you seek a companion for a moonlit stroll through the village square or a partner for a daring escapade, our Queer Speed Dating and Friending event promises an evening of enchantment and possibility. Join us, and let fate weave its magic.

Any member of the Queer community is welcome to attend.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet a variety of people through a series of short, relaxed mini-dates. The event will begin with a mixer to give a chance for attendees to break the ice and get to know other participants before the dates begin.

Space is limited for this event, so grab your tickets quickly!

Your ticket gets you into the event and includes an alcoholic beverage or soda/other non-alcoholic drink.

Here's what to expect:

• Ticket price includes one drink ticket.
• After sign-up you will receive an e-mail prompting you to submit a photo for our directory of daters. This will be used after the event to view attendees and select your desired matches.
• Arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the event start time to check in with your host and redeem your drink ticket at the bar before we get started.
• The event will start with a mixer activity designed to help ease nerves and get some conversations going before speed dating officially begins.
• Your host will assign movers and sitters at check in. The sitters will remain in place for the evening. When the bell rings, the movers will rotate to the next numbered place, embarking on a new 5 minute date each time.
• Question cards will be available at each place setting to inspire fun and engaging conversations.
• Halfway through your dates there will be a 20 minute intermission for you to go to the restroom, stretch your legs, and grab another drink.
• Take notes on the provided match sheet after each encounter.
• After the event, scan the QR code on your match sheet. This will lead you to a google form where you can view the list of participants and select those you wish to match with.
• You will be notified of matches the Saturday after the event.
