Join us in celebrating Pride Month with a Queer Poetry Showcase! 🏳️🌈
There will be poetry writing supplies & prompts, discarded books for blackout poetry, and lots of social time to meet other folks who are interested in poetry!
We’ll be featuring the following local 2SLGBTQ+ artists who’ll be doing spoken poetry:
👉 Malakai Herrera
👉 John Forget
👉 Sam Convey
👉 Panda Nistico
👉 Caitlin Mundy
👉 Austin Campbell
👉 Haley Andrew-Pels
There will be an open mic session! This is a great opportunity for you to show off your poetry 🙌
This is a FREE event!
📍 Roots Community Food Centre (450 Fort William Rd)
🚪 Wheelchair-accessible venue with a parking lot
🕐 Doors open at 1PM (Agenda TBA)
