Out + Loud are back at the Bookish Type for another queer open mic!As the winter evenings draw in, we’re thinking about what keeps us hopeful and connected. Come along and share something; personal, political, rage or joy, new words or old favourites to chase away wintery disillusionment.
To sign up to perform simply send Out + Loud a message or email outnloud.events [at] gmail.com. There will also be a few spaces to sign up on the night if inspiration strikes. So whether you’re a poet, comedian, musician, or something else entirely, we’d love to have you perform with us!
The set-up will be mic free so everything will be acoustic.

Tickets are on a sliding scale (£5 / £3) with some free tickets available if cost would be a barrier.

Access Info
The shop has an 8cm step but we have a ramp we can put in place if required.
There is a downstairs bathroom with toilet and hand basin.
There is a range of seating including chairs that are armless with padded seats and backs, armless sofa, bench with cushions.
Face masks are encouraged but not required; an H13 HEPA air purifier will be in use.
On street parking available (charges may apply).
