About this Event

Following a smash-hit first edition in 2024, the Queer Nature Photography Awards are back! This year, we are transforming the night into a dynamic melting pot of science and creativity (Science meets Arts). Together, we will celebrate the breathtaking diversity of the natural world and shatter the traditional, heteronormative lens through which we are often used to view nature.

Expect a fast-paced, high-energy evening packed with visual storytelling, thought-provoking conversations, and a big dose of queer excellence.

What’s on the Agenda?

• Science meets Arts Panel: A sharp, engaging discussion featuring experts Charlotte Vermeulen, Floris Dorgelo and Noah Baars. Discover their favourite examples of Queer Nature and learn why this perspective is more socially relevant today than ever before.
• Live Music & Visuals: Watch all photographic submissions come to life on the big screen, beautifully paired with a live performance by an exclusive queer guest artist; Norman Vladimir.
• The Award Ceremony: Who will take home this year's ultimate Queer Nature Photography Award? Experience the climax live, featuring a special message from our top winner.
• Afterparty: Strike a pose at our Photo Wall, get your picture taken by our event photographer, and raise a complimentary glass as our live DJ takes over the decks.
