About this Event

Next month we’ll be meeting on November 3rd to discuss Emperor of Gladness by Ocean Vuong. In Vuong's second novel, lonely young Hai and elderly widow Grazina become an unlikely found family. This meditation on community and survival in the face of modern America's alienation holds all the grace and beauty of Vuong's poetic style.
