About this Event

If you’ve been wanting to read more local authors and queer Southern stories, this will be a great book club for you. We’ll be reading Southernmost by Lexington’s own Silas House. You can buy your copy from Bond House Books at Lexington Pride or any of our pop-up events!

Southernmost follows Asher Sharp, an evangelical preacher in Tennessee, reconciling the bigotry in his community with the queer people he loves. After being shunned for his newfound tolerance, Asher and his son travel to Key West in hopes of reuniting with Asher’s gay brother.

Your $30 ticket for this book club includes next month’s book selection, a guided discussion with fidgets and crafts, and access to our book club Instagram chat. Get your ticket now before seats fill!
