Queer Heirlooms - Still Life drawing with artist Ruby Allegra
About this Event
Still life drawing with Ruby Allegra will be set amongst the Queer Heirloom exhibition, a curated group show featuring over 100 Queer artists. Ruby will be using inspiration from the exhibition, as well as seting up their own displays of still life to facilitate this intimate evening of drawing and learning.
This workshop is a three hour facilitated still life drawing class, all materials provided, however you're welcome to bring your own if you have a favourite something that you always like to use!

About the artist!
Ruby Allegra (they/them) is a queercrippled multidisciplinary artist living on
Wurundjeri Country with their two cats, Winnie and Olive.
Art forms: accessibility as artform, crochet, drawing, painting, ceramics,
printmaking, zines, collage, writing
Special interests: the colour pink, butterflies, fish, disability justice, crochet
Likes: making art, Lego, doing puzzles, pasta, cooking, making ableists
uncomfortable, lists
Dislikes: mushrooms, juice with pulp, stairs, racists, ableists, zionists and
transphobes
Hopes for: Land Back, dismantling of all systems of oppression, a Free Palestine,
accessible housing for all
