About this Event
Drawing inspiration from the diversity and fluidity found in ecology, this workshop invites you to experience how affects and relationality are central to how life unfolds --- How does it bring a dynamic and connection in life?
This workshop is FREE but space is limited so sign up soon!
Sunday 2/22. 3:30pm.
Let's ---
☄️Explore threads through roaming and making
☄️Reflect on and share our worryness, happiness, our theory and philosophy or living wonder through arts and dialogue
This 1.5-hour process- and arts-based workshop invites LGBTQIA+ participants to explore living inquiries through reflective creative practices among the group.
Participants will engage with materials such as thread and collage to express and process how feelings move through bodies, objects, and the shared space between us. Guided prompts will invite attention to both verbal and artistic forms of connection that will allow expression and affects to take form.
The workshop centers care, curiosity, and choice. No prior art experience is needed, and participants are always invited rather than required to share!
Facilitated by Hsuan Chi Liu (PhD student) and Phoebe Scheidegger (MA alum), from the Museum Education and Visitor-Centered Curation program at Florida State University
