Cultural festival for queer artists from Ukraine, Belarus and Russia who have had to flee due to war, repression and persecution.
About this Event

EN: “Queer Culture in Exile” is a сultural festival by Quarteera for queer artists from Ukraine, Belarus and Russia who have had to flee due to war, repression and persecution.

In their works they demonstrate the variety of queer refugees' life paths and cultures in order to be heard, understood and accepted in their new countries.

17 new cultural projects such as theater, dance performance, music, photo exhibitions, animation, book and film presentation will be shown.

At the festival it will be possible to meet most of the authors in person.

The event will be held in Russian and English.

RU: “Квир-культура в эмиграции” - культурный фестиваль Quarteera, на котором будут представлены работы квир-деятель_ниц искусства из Украины, Беларуси и России, вынужденных бежать от войны, репрессий и преследований.

В рамках проекта Quarteera объединила 17 опытных квир-авторо_к, которыми были созданы новые работы в разных областях культуры (литература, музыка, кино, анимация, танец, фотография, театр, перформанс) об опыте квир-беженства.

На фестивале будет возможно увидеть эти работы и познакомиться с большинством авторо_к лично.

Мероприятие пройдет на русском и английском языке.
