Join us for the first Queer Contra Dance Camp in the fall and the first camp in Washington! We'll be dancing overlooking the sound at Camp Sealth on Vashon Island. Queer Contra Dance Camp is a queer-normative contra dance weekend with incredible callers and musicians and an enthusiastic and friendly community.� Callers: Lindsey Dono and Maia McCormick
Bands: Raven & Goose (Corwin Zekley and Grace Fellows) and Audrey Jaber, Christopher Jacoby, and Julie Bennet
San Francisco Bay Queer Contra Dance's camps use the calling terms larks and robins, prioritize consent, have gender-free facilities, and welcome dancers of all identities and experience. Camp includes housing, six meals, and we'll have a costume dance Friday night for Halloween.
Registration is on a sliding scale starting at $125 and we ask attendees to be as generous as they can so that more of our community can join us for a weekend like no other.
