Queer Community Field Day at Pluck Farm
Join us for a Family-friendly hangout at the farm with our LGBTQIA+ community and allies!
Steel String Brewery’s Queer Community Field Day is happening on Sunday June 14th, 2026 at Pluck Farm!
Our goal is bring together members of the LGBTQ+ community, allies and families at our Pluck Farm location to build community around music, games, art and sports. We’ve got some fantastic, inclusive local organizations joining us to table, recruit and offer demonstrations.
10% of sales the day will go to support our non-profit partner for Pride Month 2026, GrrlBands !
🎯 Field Day Games – Available all day on the Pluck Field
- cornhole, bubbles, Connect 4, splash pads, and much more!
⚾️ Sport Team Demos- 4-6pm
- 30 min demos and activities put on by @enoriverrugby @durhamfruits @triangleulty
🦐 Community Seafood Boil – 6pm until y’all are full!
- Plates will be offered for purchase at the bar with a suggested donation of $25 dollars. Boil will be prepped by our brewers in celebration of our Old Bay Lager
🎶 Live Music 5-7pm: Monometrics @monometrics_band
📚 Golden Fig Books bringing their favorite picks of LGBTQIA+ literature for all ages
🎨 Painted Grape offers face painting and craft kits.
💐Pride Bouquets – The flower team at Pluck Farm has created bouquets inspired by various Pride flags for sale specially for the day.
🏰Bouncy House up from noon until sundown
🍻Cider, wine, LocoPops, sodas, and beer brewed on site for the thirsty available at the bar window all day.
As always the farm is dog- and family-friendly.
Get your lawn chairs and picnic blanket ready for a fun-filled, family-friendly day at the farm this Pride Month with our LGBTQ+ community and allies.
